About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team at Cofinity-X GmbH. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Conduct variance analysis to assess financial performance against forecasts and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide ad-hoc analytical support and insights to facilitate strategic decision-making and challenge department leads using analytical insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals, share insights, and drive initiatives that benefit the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration with focus on finance, controlling, accounting or auditing or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of accounting rules and principles according to HGB.
  • Professional experience of 2-3 years in a finance role in a B2B- and SaaS-based joint-venture or startup with a digital business model are an advantage.
  • Min. 2-3 years professional experience in or controlling.
  • Analytical skills and proactive approach.
  • Strong knowledge in Excel and Power-BI; knowledge of DATEV and Business Central or SAP will be considered a plus.
  • Ability to think outside the box with high willingness to learn.
  • Fluent communication skills in German and English.
