ALM/JAZZ Solutions Architect

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to design, implement, and sustain ALM/JAZZ architecture that optimizes the performance of our Engineering applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining cloud architectures in accordance with Continental's IT Enterprise Architecture and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain ALM/JAZZ architecture to enhance operational efficiency for Engineering applications.
  • Design and implement cloud architectures that comply with Continental's IT Enterprise Architecture standards.
  • Evaluate and validate cutting-edge technologies, components, and tools to support current and future Engineering applications.
  • Create proof of concept designs utilizing components from AWS, Azure, and other cloud service providers.
  • Facilitate coordination between IT and business requests, engaging relevant stakeholders through DevOps processes.
  • Assist in the rollout and upgrade of Agile/CI applications hosted within AWS Continental VPCs.
  • Adhere to and understand Continental's R&D and IT processes.
  • Collaborate with a global team across various time zones and cultures.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Extensive hands-on experience within an IT organization or a cloud-focused environment.
  • Proficient in the Continental Cloud Governance Framework.
  • In-depth knowledge of JAZZ and ELM environments.
  • Advanced expertise in AWS cloud computing services.
  • Strong understanding of both cloud and on-premises technologies and services.
  • Active participation in the Continental Cloud Governance Framework.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud-based service and deployment models.
  • Familiarity with SAFe and SCRUM methodologies, particularly as they relate to IT Enterprise Architecture.
  • Comprehension of IT terminology and related documentation (e.g., IT Service, SLA, Service Incident, etc.).
  • Fluent in English with basic proficiency in German, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to align, organize, and plan activities in an Agile manner with a global team.
