Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Developer to join our team at SEW USOCOME. As an Embedded Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating software stacks for safety-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement software stacks for routing tasks in safety-critical systems
  • Integrate Safety-Slave into a system with safety functions, including proof of concept
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets safety and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to the development of safety-critical software components and modules
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of C/C++ in embedded environments
  • Ability to read and understand circuit diagrams
  • Experience with fieldbus environments and safety-critical systems
  • Basic understanding of control technology and functional safety principles
