Signal Mechanic

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Signal Mechanic (w/m/d) to join our team at DB InfraGO AG in a specialist role in signaling and safety technology. As a key member of our team, you will progress through various development stages to become a Signal Mechanic, responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and servicing various systems in signaling and safety technology.

• Inspect and maintain electronic components, including signals, switches, and signal boxes, while gaining knowledge of mechanical components
• Work collaboratively with the team to carry out tasks in your regional area independently and reliably
• Manage electrical indoor and outdoor equipment, primarily working outdoors
• Troubleshoot track systems and report findings
• Coordinate with the central base to receive necessary materials, tools, and vehicle for your work

• Completed training in electrical engineering, such as an electrician, mechatronics technician, electrical specialist, or automation technician
• Willingness to participate in rotating on-call duty after thorough training
• Comfortable working outdoors and in a team environment
• Demonstrate commitment, willingness to learn, reliability, teamwork, and flexibility
• Hold a valid driver's license (Class B)
