Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct, document, and oversee safety tests, including short circuit and drop tests.
  • Collaborate with partners to coordinate and plan cell safety tests based on previous overall storage assessments.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the safety laboratory and its testing methodologies.
  • Manage test and measurement equipment within the technical center and liaise with service providers for maintenance and procurement.
  • Assist in the setup and upkeep of additional testing facilities and equipment.
  • Standard 35-hour work week.

Your Profile

  • Completed B.Sc. or M.Sc. in materials science, electrical engineering, chemistry, or a related technical field.
  • Training as an electrician, electronics technician, materials tester, or similar technical qualifications.
  • Experience in an analytical laboratory or similar environment is essential; familiarity with lithium-ion battery cells is preferred.
  • Knowledge of safety testing protocols related to Li-ion batteries and associated technologies.
  • Experience in chemical/electrical laboratories and handling inert gas equipment.
  • Understanding of lithium-ion technology and large-format Li-ion cells and modules.
  • Demonstrated reliability, quality orientation, and accountability.
  • Proficient in applying and interpreting relevant analytical methods.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
