Job Title: Senior Testing Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Testing Engineer to join our IDIADA team. As a Senior Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for validating vehicle functions for projects in the ADAS field for various assistance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate vehicle functions for projects in the ADAS field for various assistance systems
  • Define ADAS test scenarios considering function specifications, functional safety, and technical product safety
  • Adjust vehicle parameters and applications to prepare for test execution in coordination with relevant departments
  • Support the validation of ADAS functionality using test maneuver catalogs on various test tracks and public roads
  • Define optimization measures to meet vehicle function requirements
  • Support the integration and commissioning of measurement equipment, robotics, and test platforms on test vehicles
  • Analyze data to ensure the integrity of test data
  • Return test validation results and report to management and customers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Automotive/Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Several years (> 4 years) of experience in ADAS testing, desirable
  • Knowledge of development processes in the automotive industry, including E/E process chains, software development, and dynamic and regulatory basics
  • Knowledge of vehicle bus systems and the application of common analysis software programs
  • Experience with reference measurement technology (GPS-based systems) and autonomous platforms and soft crash targets, advantageous
  • Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262) and technical product safety (SOTIF), advantageous
  • Experience as a test manager, desirable (ISTQB-certified)
