Position Overview: Solar Project Manager (m/f/d)

Our Project Managers play a crucial role in the Solar Construction and Project Management Department, providing essential technical support during the early stages of project development. This involvement ensures that we can create and maintain optimal project concepts from inception to completion.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison within the Solar division, coordinating with finance, project development, grid connection, and operational teams.
  • Oversee budget management and detailed project cost assessments to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Assist in defining specifications for electrical components, including transformer stations and inverters.
  • Draft scopes of work, conduct audits, and select subcontractors.
  • Calculate construction costs for solar project implementation.
  • Provide guidance and support to Site Managers.
  • Conduct site visits to verify compliance with contractual obligations and ensure high-quality work.
  • Review project designs and offer constructive feedback based on real-world construction site conditions.

Your Qualifications:

  • A degree in engineering or a related field is essential.
  • Experience in the solar industry, particularly with utility-scale, ground-mounted plants, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of EPC processes, solar PV performance, and construction optimization is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English and German is required; additional languages are a plus.
  • A willingness to travel to various project sites globally is necessary.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, negotiation abilities, and a confident presence in international settings.
  • A collaborative mindset, coupled with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications is expected.
