Position Overview:

Fugro Germany Land GmbH is seeking a dedicated Geologist/Hydrogeologist to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are eager to tackle complex technical challenges and enhance their professional skills. Your contributions will be vital in guiding our clients' decisions and influencing the future of regional water management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop expert assessments on hydrogeological and water resource management topics.
  • Prepare documentation for water and environmental permit applications related to groundwater and surface water extraction.
  • Conduct GIS-based evaluations of geospatial and environmental datasets.
  • Oversee and coordinate technical field operations.
  • Execute analytical and software-driven geohydraulic computations.
  • Plan and manage the establishment of monitoring wells and points.
Required Qualifications:
  • Degree in Earth Sciences, Geology, Geoecology, Water Management, or a related discipline with a focus on Hydrogeology.
  • Relevant work experience, including internships or roles as a student assistant.
  • Proficient in GIS and MS Office applications.
  • Fluent in German (minimum C1 level) and possess strong English language skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a structured and goal-oriented approach.
