We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to join our team at Aggreko Deutschland GmbH. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, provisioning, and bespoke programming for new sites, as well as supporting sales and advising on controls solutions for complex tenders.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Provisioning: Design and provision bespoke controls for new sites, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Support Sales: Provide technical expertise to support sales teams in advising on controls solutions for complex tenders.
- Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence of new control systems to be introduced, including comparison of solutions available in the market.
- Testing and Validation: Define and support the testing and validation of bespoke controls for energy storage systems.
- Controls Architecture: Define and build controls architecture for energy storage and hybrid applications.
- Documentation: Document applications and required controls, ensuring clear and concise communication with stakeholders.
- Site Support: Provide point of escalation for site issues, assessing and resolving infant care issues.
- Commissioning: Assist with commissioning and SAT of complex projects.
- Standards and Compliance: Understand and adhere to standards for different regions, creating document templates for processes.
- Training and Development: Train less experienced personnel and other trainers, promoting knowledge sharing and growth.
- Electrical or Electronic or Controls Engineering Degree: Hold a degree in Electrical or Electronic or Controls Engineering (or equivalent).
- CODESYS Programming Capability: Possess CODESYS programming capability.
- Experience: Have at least 3 years of experience with controls development, testing, simulation, and applications in the rentals space.
- Energy Storage Systems: Have at least 3 years of experience with Energy Storage Systems, Renewables, and Hybrids, including product testing and terminologies.
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and relationship skills, communicating clearly and effectively with all levels of stakeholders.
- Leadership: Possess a track record of motivating, inspiring, and supporting individuals to be their best and grow.
