About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Manager to join our team at Landeshauptstadt Düsseldorf. As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for developing the foundation for strategic real estate-related decisions, optimizing the building portfolio in terms of costs and economic efficiency, and improving floor space efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing the foundation for strategic real estate-related decisions
  • Optimizing the building portfolio in terms of costs and economic efficiency
  • Improving floor space efficiency and strategic portfolio planning
  • Verifying space requirements and comparing them with existing space for further space requirement adjustments
  • Developing recommendations and political decision-making documents
  • Leading complex projects to provide suitable space for municipal authorities

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Immobilienfachwirt*in or Bachelor of Arts in Immobilienwirtschaft or equivalent qualification
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in real estate and project management
  • Technical understanding and business knowledge or willingness to acquire it
  • High level of organizational skills, resilience, communication, and team skills
  • Economic and conceptual thinking and acting
  • Ability to support the further development of the task area
