Security Manager

About the Role
Gilbane is seeking a highly skilled Security Manager to support our organization's security initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing effective security processes and policies to protect our assets and interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain security standards and protocols for project sites and company events
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to ensure effective police presence at project sites and company events
- Conduct security assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
- Investigate and gather evidence on security incidents and labor disruptions
- Manage security-related activities, including construction security planning and monitoring
- Prepare and package security clearance upgrades for employees
- Conduct security briefings for new employees
- Coordinate with clients for material handling, delivery, and inspections
- Manage personnel and equipment site access
Requirements
- Previous experience in the A/E/C industry or law enforcement
- Project management experience is essential
- Must have a fully adjudicated Secret security clearance
- Highly motivated and experienced individual who can operate autonomously
