About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Fullstack Software Engineer to join our team in Germany. As a key member of our engineering hub, you will be responsible for designing and developing modern web applications using Javascript, React, and Java/Spring Boot.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of scalable software architectures and drive technical decisions
  • Implement front-end web applications and back-end web services using Javascript, React, and Java/Spring Boot
  • Assure delivery of high-quality software through robust CI/CD pipelines and code reviews
  • Own major projects and features from design phase to coding, testing, and deployment
  • Become a domain expert of the complex ecosystem of payments within eBay
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar technical degree
  • 10 years of experience designing and developing highly scalable web applications
  • In-depth experience in translating requirements into scalable software architectures
  • Proficiency in Javascript, React, HTML5, TypeScript, and CSS3
  • Experience in back-end development of RESTful web services using Java/Spring Boot/J2EE
  • Working knowledge of tools such as Jira and Git
  • Familiar with writing unit tests with mocking
