We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to support our Category Manager in the CM Fresh Produce team at REWE.

• Support Purchasing Decisions: Analyze market trends and provide valuable insights to inform purchasing decisions, ensuring the best possible products for our customers.
• Supplier Management: List and manage new suppliers, acting as a liaison between purchasing and Category Management to ensure seamless communication and efficient processes.
• Event Planning: Assist in preparing and following up on internal trade fairs and industry events, showcasing our products and services to key stakeholders.
• Data Maintenance: Ensure accurate and up-to-date data maintenance in various systems, guaranteeing the highest level of data quality and integrity.
• Assortment and Promotions: Assist in planning and implementing assortment and promotional activities, driving sales and customer engagement.

• Commercial Background: Completed commercial apprenticeship, preferably in the retail or wholesale sector.
• Procurement Experience: Experience in procurement or administrative tasks is a plus, demonstrating a strong understanding of procurement processes and procedures.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to stay organized and react quickly to unforeseen events, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and projects.
