We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team at DB Kommunikationstechnik GmbH as a Dual Study Program student in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Communication Technology for Transportation Systems.

About the Program

The 3-year dual study program is a unique opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience in the field of electrical engineering. You will alternate between theoretical phases at the DHBW Ravensburg campus in Friedrichshafen and practical phases at our company in Erfurt.

Theoretical Phases

  • You will receive a comprehensive education in engineering sciences, including mathematics, physics, and computer science, as well as topics relevant to electrical engineering.
  • You will gain a deep understanding of all areas of electrical engineering, including electronics, system theory, and microcomputer technology.
  • You will develop key qualifications such as interdisciplinary thinking, project management, and presentation skills.

Practical Phases

  • You will work on projects in the areas of planning, project management, and construction supervision at DB Kommunikationstechnik.
  • You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the areas of project leadership, planning, and construction supervision in communication technology with a focus on electrical engineering.
  • You will work on small and large projects, from rough planning to fine planning, construction supervision, and acceptance, with a focus on electrical engineering.

Your Profile

  • You have successfully completed your (vocational) high school diploma or have a corresponding professional qualification (vocational high school graduates must complete the study capability test at the DHBW before starting their studies; professionally qualified individuals must meet the requirements for enrollment at the DHBW Ravensburg).
  • You have excellent math and physics skills.
  • You are fascinated by technical relationships and enjoy tinkering with electronic devices.
  • You are communicative and work well in a team.
  • You are goal-oriented and work independently.
