We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Qorvo. As a key member of our Power Electronics group, you will be responsible for providing technical support and advocacy for the use of our power management and SiC semiconductors in customer designs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support and guidance to customers on the design and development of power management circuits.
- Collaborate with the sales team to convert opportunities into successful design wins.
- Deliver on-site technical support and hands-on assistance to power electronics customers throughout the design cycle.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Qorvo's power management portfolio to deliver world-class applications support.
- Analyze power solutions using simulation tools and provide recommendations to customers.
- Establish strong relationships with customers and coordinate product-promotion activities with the sales team and Distribution.
- Prepare training material and conduct technical training, workshops, and seminars in Europe.
- Work on joint development projects with customers as needed.
- Capture regional requirements, product issues, fixes, and improvement ideas and communicate to our Power Business Units.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
- 5+ years of extensive experience in the design and development of power management, motor control, and battery management circuits.
- Good knowledge of SiC semiconductors, Diodes, MOSFETs, and JFETs.
- Proficiency in AC/DC, DC/DC, Power Distribution Units, BLDC, and PMSM motor control and Battery Management Systems.
- Familiarity with power measurement equipment, such as multimeters, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, bench power supplies, spectrum analyzers, etc. for testing and debugging.
- Proficient at schematic capture, proper PCB layout techniques, thermal simulation, and analysis for high power and high voltage circuits.
- Excellent German and English verbal, written, and presentation skills, along with strong interpersonal communication abilities.
- Demonstrated success in resolving customer technical issues.
- Willingness to travel within Europe as required.
