Security Investigator

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Investigator to join our Prototype Security Investigations team at Amazon Development Center Germany GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and leading security projects and programs to support Amazon's prototype device teams.

• Conduct thorough investigations, gather relevant information, and analyze findings effectively into device losses and unauthorized disclosures.
• Conduct security risk and vulnerability assessments as it relates to root cause errors identified in lost device investigations to design mitigation strategies on identified vulnerabilities to reduce further loss of devices and intellectual property.
• Write reports to show your evaluation and analysis of metrics collected to support risk-based prioritization of recommended solutions.
• Lead in the development of security education materials to include online training modules, and be willing to deploy and conduct in-person/virtual training sessions, employee outreach events, educational posters and handout material.

The Prototype Security Investigations team aims to mitigate unauthorized intellectual property (IP) disclosure, prototype device loss and theft, and non-compliance with the Acceptable Use Policy. We reduce risk to Amazon IP, make informed decisions to decrease intellectual property loss, and support regulatory requirements.

• 5+ years of experience in conducting security, fraud, or insider threat investigations in the capacity to evaluate evidence, identify patterns, and draw logical conclusions to solve complex problems.
• 3+ years of experience using a case management system and data analysis software to investigate system failures, uncover root causes, and driving resolution.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
• Investigations related professional certification.
• Demonstrated maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills.
