About PASS GmbH & Co. KG
We are a successful family-owned medium-sized supplier to the automotive industry in the field of media-guided systems. Our major customers include the VW Group, Ford, Mercedes, and BMW.
We currently produce on three continents with over 4,000 employees at six locations worldwide and are expanding further.
We produce intake manifold systems for the areas of fuel, coolant, crankcase ventilation, oil feed and return, exhaust gas recirculation, or vacuum. Rubber, plastic, metal, or PU foam is processed and modified through various manufacturing processes and complemented with ready-to-install systems. New manufacturing processes are constantly adapted, resulting in a steadily increasing production depth.

Your Responsibilities
As a Development Engineer or Chemical Engineer at PASS GmbH & Co. KG, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the development of new products for fluid-guided systems, such as coolant, fuels, and oils in the automotive industry
- From customer request to series production (industrialization), you will combine different materials (rubber, plastic, metal) into a functioning unit
- You will serve as the customer's point of contact from the initial idea and develop the project
- You will work with your team to develop comprehensive solutions for the implementation of technical requirements for the product (specification), as well as the necessary production steps, taking into account existing and necessary resources (machines and materials)
- You will define the necessary parameters for cost-efficient and timely production
- You will also be actively involved in ongoing production to identify and implement ongoing optimization needs
- You will coordinate with internal and external testing procedures (laboratories)
- You will organize the respective development project in terms of time with all involved parties
- You will accompany the development also during the industrialization at our foreign production locations
- You will accompany possible customer complaints for new developments
- You will serve as a technical point of contact for the customer
Your Profile
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A completed engineering degree with a focus on process engineering, polymer science, or chemistry
- Or have a comparable education that has been acquired through practical experience in the aforementioned fields
- A strong preference is given to relevant experience in designing production workflows and production chains, ideally in the automotive sector
- You should have a high level of technical expertise
- You should be able to work independently, also in cooperation with our foreign locations
- You should be able to understand and communicate effectively with colleagues from various departments
- You should be a communicative team player
- You should be willing to travel
