About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Virtual Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the virtual aspects of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement virtualized data center infrastructure, including Cisco NEXUS products, Cisco UCS, and VMWARE.
  • Develop and maintain virtualized network architectures, including Cisco ACI and HCI solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of virtualized infrastructure with other IT systems.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in virtualized infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Secret clearance required.
  • DoD 8570 IAT II certification.
  • HS diploma or GED and 11+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining virtualized IT infrastructure, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with software-defined networking, automation using Microsoft PowerShell, and batch files.
  • Top Secret clearance a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud virtualization and virtual networks.
  • Citrix VDI certification.
  • CompTIA CASP+ certification.
  • ITIL v3 – Foundation certification.
  • CCIE Data Center certification.
  • VMWARE NSX certification.
