Lead Project Manager for Mechatronic Systems Development

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee system project management for the creation of cutting-edge mechatronic chassis actuators, leading the project team effectively.
- Plan and manage functional components, estimate workload, monitor development progress, and control costs to guarantee quality and timely delivery.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients and subprojects, ensuring adherence to timelines, compliance with processes, and management of customer-specific requirements analysis, architecture, and design development.
- Coordinate milestone planning within the overall project framework, align across various disciplines, and develop a maturity-based plan for system approvals.
- Facilitate team meetings, conduct design and milestone reviews, and report on project status during internal and client meetings, as well as to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical project management within the automotive sector, specifically for mechatronic system projects.
- In-depth knowledge of chassis systems, particularly in steering and active suspension technologies.
- Comprehensive understanding of the system development process, including ISO 26262 compliance, along with leadership experience and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong methodological skills and proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project and/or PLM software.
- Experience in evaluating development projects within IATF 16949 and ASPICE frameworks.
- Fluency in both German and English, with a willingness to travel internationally.
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, with a passion for interdisciplinary teamwork, exceptional communication, and moderation skills, along with diplomatic finesse.
