Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the Düsseldorf-based team for Liquidity Risk, steering the liquidity risk process for commodity positions of the Uniper group.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive liquidity risk governance framework, working closely across functions.
  • Facilitate understanding and modeling of liquidity risks across the portfolio to gain adequate quantification of capital requirements and associated costs.
  • Contribute to the company-wide liquidity planning process, bringing in the risk perspective.
  • Monitor liquidity risks for the Uniper group, understanding and explaining them to various stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively across committees and advise on relevant decision-making within Uniper's Risk management community and other governance bodies.

Your Profile

  • University degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in Risk/Liquidity management or Treasury within an investment bank or energy trading company.
  • Proven expertise in quantitative risk methodologies, stress testing, and risk framework development.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate in cross-functional teams and manage projects.
  • Strong team player with experience working in an international and multicultural team, with the ability to cultivate strong positive working relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to work independently, form own judgment/opinions, provide insights, and drive change.
  • Proactive with strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills and ability to build relationships remotely.
