Our dedicated team at the Sindelfingen facility is engaged in the manufacturing of the Z1 bodyshell for the E-Class and GLC models. We are responsible for the assembly of the substructure and the complete body structure, meticulously integrating sheet metal components through a series of production stages following a defined joining sequence.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will encounter the following challenges:

  • Engagement in continuous improvement initiatives and workshops
  • Assisting in the operational production environment
  • Enhancing and stabilizing production processes related to joining technologies and clamping concepts
  • Independently managing various special projects
  • Formulating specific strategies to boost efficiency
  • Contributing to the daily operations of the team within series production
  • Preparing documentation for management and project oversight (e.g., reports, protocols)
  • Maintaining effective communication with relevant stakeholders and colleagues in your area of responsibility
Qualifications
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with a focus on Production Engineering or Industrial Engineering
  • Fluency in both written and spoken German and English
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Strong commitment and teamwork abilities
  • Analytical mindset with a solid technical understanding
  • Structured thinking, practical orientation, and effective communication skills
