Job Description

In our Equipment Automation department, you can expect diverse tasks and innovative projects. Work on Smart Factory solutions actively and implement your ideas with the latest technologies.

Your Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the architecture of automation solutions in Equipment Automation for automating production processes
  • Control of software development, creation of requirement analysis, design of software architecture, review and support integration, testing and quality assurance
  • Establishment of the basics for software integration and connection to interfaces of equipment and peripheral devices
  • Coordination and alignment with adjacent development fields as well as further development of the software framework
  • Responsibility for the quality and consistency of software as well as conducting training and workshops

Your Qualifications

  • Completed studies in Automation Technology, Computer Science, Technical Computer Science or comparable
  • Extensive programming experience, especially from SPS controls as well as knowledge in WINCC, SPS software tools and bus systems, measurement systems, LabVIEW, etc.
  • Good knowledge of software architectures
  • Experience in software architecture for equipment, especially with networked, fully automated systems and equipment
  • Good German and English skills as well as low travel readiness of around 10%
