Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sustainable Weed Management Specialist to join our Crop Protection unit.
Responsibilities
- Annotate drone images for agricultural applications to contribute to the development of deep learning models.
- Review models to refine their accuracy and effectiveness, promoting ongoing improvements.
- Assist with occasional programming tasks as required, leveraging relevant knowledge in this area.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's student in plant science or IT, with a willingness to acquire agronomic knowledge.
- Experience in weed management is desirable.
- Competent handling of standard IT applications, with programming knowledge a plus.
- Strong communicational skills in English.
- Ability to relocate to Cologne or commit to regular commuting.
