Security Engineering Series Manager

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified Series Manager ( f/m/d) specializing in Security and Security Management. This role offers an opportunity to engage with a prestigious automobile manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the product security engineering process as a security manager or series security manager for a specific cluster or series
  • Represent product security within the relevant E/E infrastructure engineering team and cluster committees
  • Monitor, assess, and report on security maturity levels
  • Coordinate the verification of security toolkits in relevant vehicle projects, including integration and release testing
  • Conduct security assessments and approvals at various levels, including component, function, network, and overall vehicle
  • Define relevant security testing scopes and engage in error discussions
  • Evaluate, track, and report on errors and deviations
  • Perform security relevance assessments for functions and components
  • Facilitate and support risk and threat analysis
  • Assist in the risk treatment process for designated scopes
  • Review, issue, and document security statements for the release of functions, components, and systems
  • Ensure implementation and documentation of PPSEP for homologation and release
  • Actively contribute to the enhancement and documentation of tools and processes for PPSEP

Candidate Profile

  • Successfully completed technical studies
  • Over one year of relevant professional experience in the security domain within the automotive sector
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong team-oriented mindset
  • Proficient in the German language
