About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Sonova. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting agile development teams in creating build and deployment automation and cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provision, operation, and further development of the necessary infrastructure (Azure Cloud and On-Prem) to ensure the operation of software development, system testing, and product-specific services.
  • Development of innovative solutions in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders in the areas of App, Embedded, Cloud & IT.
  • Development of new technologies, frameworks, patterns, working methods, and their knowledge transfer within the development team.

Requirements:

  • You have successfully completed a degree in computer science (or similar) or comparable training.
  • You have several years of professional experience with good knowledge of Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems as well as methods and tools for virtualization.
  • Scripting languages such as Bash, Powershell, etc. are not foreign words to you, and you have already gained practical experience with them.
  • You are familiar with build processes and automation, as well as tools such as Azure DevOps (preferred), Jenkins, Ansible, or similar.
  • Ideally, you already have experience with package managers such as npm, Nuget, etc.
  • Previous experience in software development, especially with mobile apps and/or embedded, would be desirable.
  • Fluent English is a qualification - good written and spoken German would also be a big plus, but not a necessity.
