Backend Software Developer

As a Backend Software Developer specializing in Golang (f/m/d), you will play a crucial role in the development and upkeep of Cinemo's cloud-based services. This encompasses aspects such as caching mechanisms, security protocols, and identity management services, along with frontend applications when necessary. A comprehensive understanding of cloud infrastructure is essential, particularly in relation to scalability, distributed systems, and database management. While you will not be directly involved in the maintenance of build pipelines, your role will require a solid grasp of deployment methodologies, including CI/CD practices, automated testing, and release management.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and sustain Cinemo's backend media services utilizing Go/Golang, ensuring optimal performance, dependability, and scalability of media processing and delivery systems.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements for new features, translating their insights into detailed technical specifications.
- Implement new functionalities within a microservices framework, applying principles of modularity, scalability, and fault tolerance to improve the overall system.
- Ensure seamless integration with internal infrastructure, facilitating connectivity and interoperability among various system components, databases, and services.
- Work alongside the DevOps team to architect and implement the necessary infrastructure to support continuous operations, emphasizing automation, monitoring, and resilience to maintain uninterrupted service availability.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, demonstrating a robust understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Go/Golang, with the capability to produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture, including the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and resilient microservices.
- Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), applying best practices to ensure the reliability and availability of services.
- Expertise in designing REST APIs, ensuring they are robust, secure, and user-friendly.
