Position Overview:
We are in search of a proactive and client-oriented Solution Engineer to join our collaborative team. In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert, assisting sales in effectively positioning the KONUX system with our clients and partners. You will contribute to the evolution of our product roadmap and feature specifications through a profound understanding of customer needs, domain knowledge, and product capabilities. Collaboration with Customer Success, product, and engineering teams will be essential to optimally convey our product vision to meet customer requirements. Your deep insights into customer operations, including maintenance practices and their impact on system availability, will establish you as a trusted technical advisor for both our clients and KONUX. Our goal is to develop the leading predictive maintenance solution for the railway sector by delivering cutting-edge technology, support, and service that exceed client expectations. This position allows for remote work, based in northern Germany.
Your Contributions:- Oversee the planning, management, and execution of customer pilots, demonstrating transformational value to build technical trust with clients.
- Identify and analyze customer challenges and requirements.
- Build and nurture relationships with technical decision-makers and influencers within client organizations.
- Recognize commonalities in customer processes and tools to enhance the KONUX product value proposition, creating a unified transformative system for the rail industry.
- Support internal business development, pre-sales initiatives, and sales efforts with expert knowledge of current and future products.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Fundamental understanding of mechanics, physics, and data analysis techniques.
- 2-5 years of practical technical experience in the railway sector, ideally focused on railway infrastructure.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment that is transforming an industry.
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships with industry experts, partners, and strategic stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to client sites at least two days per week.
- Fluency in German (C2/1) and proficiency in English (C1) is essential for this role.
