About this Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Regulatory Affairs to join our team at HARIBO. As a key member of our corporate leadership, you will be responsible for building and leading our international Regulatory Affairs department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regulatory strategies to ensure compliance with international regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met in product development, manufacturing, and supply chain management.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities, industry associations, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for regulatory compliance, including risk management and quality assurance.
  • Lead global projects to develop and improve recipes, ingredients, and packaging materials.
  • Provide regulatory expertise and support to business units and functions across the organization.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Food Chemistry, Food Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs and Quality Management, preferably in the confectionery industry.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and developing regulatory strategies.
  • Excellent knowledge of international regulations and standards, including GFSI audits.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate complex regulatory information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluent English language skills and proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
