About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Solutions Engineer to join our team at State Street. As a Business Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our Institutional Services function, which delivers a comprehensive and holistic approach to client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and transfer technical requirements from business needs to assess the possibilities for implementation in SimCorp Dimension (SCD).
  • Coordinate requirements and work closely with teams involved in the process, including business analysis, project management, and departments.
  • Collaborate in projects with a focus on SCD configuration and processes, and assume project management for small and medium-sized projects.
  • Further develop SCD configuration and processes with a focus on configuration, including documentation, testing, and SCD handover as part of current internal change processes.
  • Develop the SCD platform technically and business-wise.
  • Support operating units with inquiries and as 2-level support in the area of SCD configuration.
  • Take care of the use, introduction, and further development of suitable tools to ensure data integrity and validate efficient workflow processes in day-to-day business.
  • Help advance Data Quality in and around SCD.
Requirements
  • IT-affine team player with an open, communicative, and empathetic personality.
  • Distinguished ability to think analytically, take a structured approach, and present complex issues in a comprehensible and confident manner.
  • Work independently and take responsibility.
  • Ability to present complex issues in a comprehensible way.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Successfully completed studies and/or bank training.
  • Experience in SimCorp Dimension and a good understanding of the database model (Oracle) are required.
  • Overall understanding of all relevant investment processes in a capital management company (KVG) including the technologies and IT systems used.
  • Knowledge of SQL is desirable.
  • Good English skills.
