Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at West Pharmaceutical Services. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems in our German Toolshop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Support the site as an expert in all quality processes, including process improvements and project coordination.
  • Plan and coordinate projects for continuous quality and process improvement, including the establishment and maintenance of test equipment monitoring and calibration.
  • Create suitable infrastructures for data trending and data analysis, and plan the processing and implementation of customer complaints.
  • Support the implementation of new innovative processes and technologies, and help drive site and departmental targets/KPIs in improving the cost of non-conforming quality.
  • Develop work instructions, regulations, and forms in the area of quality control and train personnel.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of engineering studies in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, measurement and control technology, physics, or a similar qualification.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience, ideally in a pharmaceutical environment or in toolmaking.
  • Experience with the creation of regulations (SOPs) and very good knowledge of statistics, measurement data processing, and understanding of technical drawings.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office and statistical tools, e.g. Minitab, as well as good knowledge of SAP.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
  • Further training in Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt) is desirable.
  • Customer-oriented thinking and acting, as well as high quality awareness.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, a structured, goal-oriented, and efficient working style, as well as a hands-on mentality.
  • Conscientiousness, reliability, and a sense of responsibility.
