Position SummaryAt Solactive, data is at the core of our operations. The Data Engineering Team is responsible for providing the essential data that underpins all of our products, sourced from both external vendors and internally generated data. Our projects are executed using cutting-edge concepts and architectures, including decentralized, cloud-based data frameworks that adhere to the principles of the data mesh approach. As a member of the Data Engineering team, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and managing new data products in close collaboration with the Product Owner, Market Data specialists, and various business units. Your contributions will include supporting requirements analysis, defining acceptance criteria, and ensuring the quality of high-performance data processing solutions that scale with emerging technologies and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in automating data quality evaluations for financial datasets.
- Conduct comparisons and assessments of market data from diverse sources.
- Monitor and develop the data processing pipeline and associated business workflows.
- Compile analytical reports for stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Contribute to the definition of data manipulation processes.
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Economics with an affinity for IT, or pursuing studies in IT/Business Information Systems/Engineering with an interest in capital markets.
- Proficient in Python programming.
- Experienced in data exploration using SQL and/or Python.
- Possesses a keen sense of perception.
- Exhibits strong problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach.
