About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Program Management team at Alpha-Engineering KG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of our aircraft programs, working closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and PMO functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management - Ensure the team and key stakeholders understand current status versus objectives and are clear on required actions to deliver those objectives.
  • Program Deliverables - Manage project objectives on behalf of the Head of Functions, ensuring teams have planned and scheduled all work within their scope in line with those objectives.
  • Project Governance - Deploy the Program Governance model within the project team and lead the team through the processes, sharing best practices across the PMO and encouraging improvements.
Requirements
  • University degree in a technical field (e.g. Engineering) or experience in a technical environment.
  • Proven Project Management skills with a minimum of 5-8 years Project Management experience, ideally within a complex aerospace environment.
  • Experience in battery cell projects highly desirable.
  • Excellent understanding of all Project Management fundamentals, including scheduling, risk management, estimation, project communications, and budget and resource management.
  • Practical experience in a range of Project Management methodologies, including predictive Project Management (e.g. waterfall) and Agile Methodologies (e.g. SAFE, SCRUM).
  • Experience in JIRA highly appreciated.
  • Excellent communicator in English, fluency in German would be beneficial.
