Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-performance trading and operational excellence in quantitative algorithmic trading and continuous power asset portfolio re-optimization.
  • Operate as a team member of the Continuous Quantitative Trading desk with 24/7 operations.
  • Maintain responsibilities for daily delivery of commercial performance across Uniper European markets, including continuous intraday trading, asset-backed and proprietary aFRR and mFRR energy bidding, and leading role in Renewables Short-term exposure management.
  • Ensure smooth operational coordination with other Short-term trading desks and European Dispatching centers.
  • Project role in developing and continuously improving Power physical quantitative trading at Uniper.

Your Profile

  • Experience in trading functions, especially around intraday asset-backed or prop physical trading.
  • Experience of algorithmic trading and renewables, flexible asset optimization.
  • Understanding of short-term market channels.
  • Understanding of compliance and regulatory rules.

  • Strong commercial orientation.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • True team player.
  • Driven by challenge and passion to deliver value and results in changing environments.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Algorithmic programming experience, especially in Python, is a plus.

Language Skills

  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Speaking German, Swedish, or Dutch is a plus.
