Job Title: Power BI Analyst & Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Analyst & Consultant to join our Competence Centre IT & Digital team. As a key member of our Self-Service Analytics team, you will play a crucial role in establishing a PowerBI Service for the entire PHOENIX Group.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of a PowerBI Service for the PHOENIX Group, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Monitor and optimize our service platforms, including PowerBI Service (Azure Cloud), to ensure stable operations and high performance.
  • Automate processes using PowerAutomate, PowerApps, and PowerShell, streamlining workflows and improving efficiency.
  • Design and develop reporting solutions for the PHOENIX Group, providing data-driven insights to support business decision-making.
  • Coach and consult business units to develop their own reporting solutions, empowering them to become PowerUsers and take ownership of their data analysis.
  • Develop PowerAutomate flows for customers and support them in building their own flows related to their reporting solutions.
Your Profile:
  • University degree in business informatics or a related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of Power BI Desktop, report visualization, dashboard development, and data preparation with PowerQuery, DAX, and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of PowerBI Service Administration and PowerAutomate.
  • High analytical skills and experience in coaching and consulting business users.
  • Knowledge of complex data warehouse databases, such as Azure Synapse Analytics and SQL Server.
  • Experience with PowerShell, Sharepoint Online, Microsoft 365, R, or Python is a plus.
  • Several years of experience in business intelligence, preferably with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Report Builder, SSRS, or Tabular Models with SSAS.
  • Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in English, with good German language skills a plus.
