Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our Central GP Ops team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing the pulse of our operations on the ground and ensuring that our customers' orders are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Support local operations to improve merchant-related metrics, with a focus on quality and delivery in store operations.
- Take ownership of identifying and reporting GP on-site store-related issues, escalating them to the Area Manager as needed.
- Monitor merchant escalations and support deep dives to resolve issues.
- Visit GP stores in your region regularly to audit process compliance, execute changes on the floor, and identify operational issues.
- Update and modify existing SOPs for new processes, GP program improvements, and developments with merchants.
- Complete labor planning tool execution for the EU.
- Escalate any merchant on-the-floor issues and link with the local Area Manager for tactical day-to-day executions.
- Support the rollout and implementation of new initiatives and process rollouts.
- Lead and support new store launches.
- Previous management/supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Fluency in German speaking/writing.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.
- Role model for safe work behaviors.
- Requirement to travel frequently throughout Germany.
- Willingness to train and learn new skills.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
