Surgical Assistant

Job Overview:
Vivantes – Netzwerk für Gesundheit GmbH is seeking a skilled Healthcare Professional to support our Endoscopy team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in diagnostic and interventional endoscopies, as well as sonographic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process endoscopic instruments while adhering to strict hygiene regulations.
- Plan and organize daily workflow to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Care and monitor patients during all examinations, providing a high level of patient satisfaction.
- Participate in the introduction of innovative endoscopic procedures, staying up-to-date with the latest medical advancements.
- Prepare, monitor, and post-treatment patients during endoscopic procedures, ensuring all necessary care aspects are met.
- Guide and advise patients and their relatives on endoscopy procedures and aftercare.
- Contribute to quality assurance measures, ensuring our endoscopy services meet the highest standards.
- Participate in endoscopy on-call service at Vivantes Humboldt Hospital and Vivantes Spandau Hospital.
Requirements:
- Completed training as a Health and Nursing Professional, Surgical Assistant (OTA), or Medical Assistant (MFA).
- Experience in the endoscopy functional area, with a strong understanding of emergency and acute medicine.
- High personal and social skills, with a sense of responsibility, dedication, and loyalty.
- Enjoyment of taking on team responsibilities and contributing to a collaborative work environment.
- Technical, manual, and organizational skills, with a high level of commitment and endurance.
- Patient-oriented and economically responsible actions, with basic knowledge of PC usage.
