About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Test Engineer to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our Surgical Operating Unit, you will be responsible for the development and enhancement of our globally launched Robotic Assisted Surgery platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test strategies for software verification of medical devices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop software solutions
  • Utilize expertise in software architecture and design to develop automated and manual tests
  • Participate in Agile scrum teams and contribute to release activities
  • Develop and maintain testing tools and provide training to junior engineers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline or related field with a minimum of 4 years of related working experience
  • Medium to advanced level Python or C++ coding ability
  • Medium to advanced level MATLAB and/or Simulink experience
  • Good communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work successfully in a team
  • Professional level English language skills
