We are Wilhelm Reuss GmbH & Co. KG Lebensmittelwerk, a leading manufacturer of sweet spreads, fillings, ice glazes, and dessert sauces for the national and international market. Our production sites are located in Berlin, Winsen (Luhe), and Roosendaal in the Netherlands. We have a wide range of recipes and technologies required for the production of various products.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our team in Berlin. As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for:
- Maintenance, modification, and upgrade of complex production, filling, and packaging lines
- Participation in the setup of new equipment
- Production of mechanical parts and welding
- Technical documentation
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A completed technical education as an Industrial Mechanic, Pipe Fitter, or equivalent qualification
- First-hand experience in a food industry or similar environment
- Good knowledge of WIG, MAG, and electric welding
- Basic knowledge of conventional turning, milling, and cutting
- Desirable skills in ventilation, heating, and climate technology, compressed air preparation, and maintenance of machine groups such as valves, pumps, and conveyor technology
- Excellent German language skills in writing and speaking, with English skills a plus
- Self-motivated, meticulous, and accurate work style
- Ability to work independently and result-oriented, with a high level of flexibility and availability for shift work, weekend work, and on-call duties
