Job Overview:

The EXFO Account Manager is a seasoned expert dedicated to enhancing sales efforts for premium IP-based networking solutions across various tiers within fixed-line and wireless telecom operators. Exceptional organizational and interpersonal abilities are crucial, as you will nurture and maintain enduring partnerships with significant, high-profile clients. The perfect candidate will possess a proven track record in marketing software and professional services. The Account Manager will concentrate on advocating EXFO Service Assurance solutions to a diverse array of telecommunications clientele.

Responsibilities:

Sales Responsibilities:

Spearhead the promotion of EXFO's Service Assurance solutions and services to key stakeholders in the telecommunications sector. Identify and assess potential clients through various channels and referrals to set meetings and establish meaningful connections. Efficiently oversee a pipeline of existing and prospective opportunities, prioritizing and strategizing to meet sales objectives. Manage sales documentation and reports promptly and accurately, ensuring a seamless delivery and invoicing process. Keep an updated and precise sales database and familiarize yourself with EXFO's core technologies to independently provide customer solutions. Serve as the primary commercial liaison to customer procurement teams, managing sourcing agreements and responding to RFPs with accuracy.

Client Engagement:

Develop customized proposals that align with client requirements and foster supportive relationships for smooth product acceptance. Assist in organizing and delivering technology seminars to inform clients about EXFO's testing solutions.

Product Insight:

Provide insights to the Product Management Team on roadmap features based on client feedback and offer competitive perspectives.

Service Expertise:

Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of operator processes in deployment and maintenance to effectively meet client demands.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of wireless and mobile technologies, analytics, and CRM tools. Proficiency in sales methodologies such as Miller-Heiman or Solution Selling. Proven ability to work autonomously and achieve targets, particularly in selling professional services. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in both German and English; additional languages are advantageous. A degree in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
