Senior Data Strategist (m/f/d)

We are INNOCEAN Europe, a marketing and communications network that combines pan-European collaboration with local expertise and execution. Our team is looking for a Senior Data Strategist to join our dynamic team and drive our data initiatives to new heights.

About the role:

We're seeking a visionary Data Strategist to lead our data strategy, seamlessly integrating cutting-edge data capabilities with our business objectives and elevating our client relationships through data-driven insights and solutions.

Your tasks:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with and enhances our digital media, adtech, and marketing initiatives
  • Identify emerging trends and technologies in the data landscape and propose innovative applications to maintain our competitive edge
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data strategy supports overall business goals and client objectives

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead high-level client engagements, translating complex data concepts into actionable insights and strategies
  • Provide expert consultation on data-driven approaches to optimize media spend, improve targeting, and enhance overall marketing performance
  • Develop and present compelling data-driven narratives and recommendations to clients, showcasing the value of our data capabilities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in data strategy, analytics, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving business results through data-driven initiatives
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning, and data modeling techniques
  • Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to translate complex data concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated experience in leading client engagements and managing stakeholder relationships
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques
  • Deep familiarity with media landscapes, adtech platforms, and martech solutions
  • Experience in the advertising or marketing agency environment
  • Knowledge of privacy regulations and data governance best practices
  • Certifications in relevant data or marketing technologies (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce...)
