IT System Engineer Voice and Data Network Specialist

Festo is seeking a highly skilled IT System Engineer Voice and Data Network to join our team. As a key member of our global IT organization, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing our voice and data communication networks.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement voice and data communication networks to ensure high availability and performance
- Monitor and manage network performance, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Ensure active network operation and high availability through switching, routing, WLAN, and security measures
- Implement and operate security policies to protect our network and data
- Develop and implement processes to ensure network configuration conformity
- Evaluate, test, and plan new network technologies and integrate them into our existing infrastructure
- Completed studies in computer science or communications engineering or equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in network operation (NOC)
- Sound knowledge of common network technologies, including routing, switching, security, SD-WAN/LAN, VPN, WLAN, VoIP, QoS, and NAT
- Knowledge of working with products from renowned network suppliers, such as Cisco, MS Teams Voice, and Audiocodes
- Sound knowledge of network analysis and troubleshooting, as well as network security
- Sound programming knowledge, including DevNet, Python, Ansible, and Terraform, as well as cloud knowledge, including AWS and Azure
- Ideal certifications, such as CCNP and CCDP, and knowledge of MS Teams Voice
- Team orientation, independent working style, and complex problem-solving skills
- Communication and conflict resolution skills, as well as flexibility
