Role Overview:
As part of the STRABAG Group, STRABAG BRVZ is responsible for all commercial and IT services across the organization. Our IT department supports thousands of international users and covers a wide range of IT functions, from software development and IT procurement to classic IT operations and internal service desk support. Our team of 500 IT professionals works diligently to equip and support STRABAG's business units effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze communication interfaces (ports) of all components within an application environment.
2. Prepare security rules and assist in the implementation of micro-segmentation using VMWare NSX.
3. Implement security rules for existing application environments.
4. Conduct technical evaluations of new corporate applications.
5. Provide consulting to internal clients regarding the operation of their applications.
6. Develop operational concepts for application management.
7. Create and maintain application documentation.
Qualifications:
- Experience in operating applications on servers.
- Basic knowledge of network and security technologies.
- Solid understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- A communicative and action-oriented personality.
- Ability to initiate, advise, and successfully implement solutions.
- Proficient in German and good command of English.
