Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Werkstoff- / Prozessentwicklung Specialist to join our team at HELLA. As a key member of our material and process development team, you will be responsible for investigating the effects of different process and material parameters on component properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently investigate the effects of different process and material parameters on component properties using novel test specimens.
  • Predict the strength-determining glass fiber distribution and orientation in critical component areas.
  • Act as a link between process development and material or process and component simulation.
  • Carry out empirical studies on test specimens, utilize analytical methods, and interpret results using computer-aided image analysis.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at a university with your latest exam still pending.
  • Studies in mechanical engineering, materials science, chemical engineering, or plastics engineering.
  • Language skills in German (C1 level) and English (desirable).
  • Good knowledge of Office applications (MS-Office package).
  • Strong technical understanding and the interest and willingness to delve into complex technical topics.
