Position Overview: In this role, you will engage with a variety of topics and technologies throughout our comprehensive development lifecycle, which includes coding, security, testing, operations, documentation, compliance, monitoring, and alerting. Cultivating the right mindset and culture will be vital for empowering the teams.
Your Mission: The primary objective is to eradicate all manual interventions from our deployment processes, utilizing innovative strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and sustain automated workflows to enhance our continuous delivery.
- Lead the integration of security protocols within the CI/CD pipeline and the overall software development lifecycle.
- Identify and incorporate new tools into our pipeline to elevate code quality, security, and compliance.
- Review and define our infrastructure and application architecture.
- Collaborate with peers through pair programming and share your expertise.
- Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines to ensure the efficient operation of our applications.
- Act as a liaison with cross-functional teams, ensuring the alignment and integration of DevSecOps practices.
- A master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in full stack development, with expertise in AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, and Git.
- Proficient in DevSecOps and cloud infrastructure management, with comprehensive knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Terraform, Python, and Linux Administration.
- Solid technical foundation with an understanding of software development and web technologies, mastering CI/CD methodologies and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly in Scrum teams.
- Familiarity with development best practices such as ATDD, BDD, TDD, FDD, and pair programming.
- Expertise in both serverless and non-serverless microservice architectures.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- A security-first mindset integrated into all activities.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex concepts effectively.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is advantageous.
