About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Catering Specialist to join our team at Universitätsklinikum Bonn. As a Catering Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events and catering services for our hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate events, including conferences, meetings, and social gatherings
  • Prepare and execute catering services, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and controlling supplies
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests and clients

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, culinary arts, or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in catering, events, or hospitality industry an asset
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
