Your Responsibilities

  • As a Senior Manager, you will oversee the subsidiaries and branches of internationally operating Japanese corporations in Germany.
  • You will conduct consolidated and annual audits in accordance with national and international accounting standards (IFRS, US-GAAP, J-GAAP).
  • Your role will include evaluating the internal control systems.
  • Additionally, you will participate in various special audits/projects and collaborate in interdisciplinary project teams.
  • With your expertise, you will prepare professional statements on accounting and valuation issues.
  • International communication will primarily occur within the Japanese context, and you will also take on mandate responsibility as well as organize and lead audit teams.
Your Profile
  • As a Senior Manager (w/m/d) in Audit Assurance - Country Practice Japan, you hold a degree in business administration, industrial engineering, business informatics, commercial law, or a related field.
  • Ideally, you have focused your studies on auditing, international accounting (IFRS, US-GAAP), commercial law, balance sheets and accounting policies, controlling, or corporate taxation.
  • You have successfully completed the professional examination, particularly as a certified public accountant.
  • A stay in Japan and familiarity with Japanese culture and mentality are advantageous.
  • You possess excellent English skills, and knowledge of the Japanese language is a plus.
  • Your qualifications are rounded off by your willingness to take on mandate and team responsibilities, as well as your readiness to learn, perform, and travel.
