About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Coordinator to join our team in Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our company-wide cyber security program, with a focus on operations in Germany.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Mercer's data and systems in Germany and the cloud.
- Implement and support a cloud-enabled security architecture, deploying suitable security tools and technologies.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training and campaigns, analyzing results and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, document, and implement cyber security policies, standards, procedures, and controls.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends and threats, analyzing their potential impact on Mercer's technical systems and operations.
Requirements
- A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in cyber security.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence results without direct authority.
- Experience with security operations centers (SOCs) and security information and event management (SIEM) systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and cloud-based collaboration tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
