About the Role

ZEISS Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Project Manager to join our team. As an IT Project Manager - Deployment Expert, you will be responsible for managing IT activities of multiple SAP S/4HANA deployment projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise IT activities of multiple SAP S/4HANA deployment projects within one hub.
  • Manage scope, schedule, and budget for IT-related activities in deployment projects and monitor technical project deliverables.
  • Plan and ensure IT resource availability and coordinate & supervise the work of highly motivated project teams and collaborate with different stakeholders across locations.
  • Align with global factory coordinators, organize and coordinate data migration, testing & cutover for associated deployment projects.
  • Identify, escalate/mitigate, and resolve IT-related issues and risks associated with the deployment projects.
  • Prepare project reporting on progress, milestone status, issues, and meeting time, budget, and content targets, carrying out reporting and information management, and preparing cost/benefit analyses and forecasts.
  • Manage communication with project stakeholders on IT-related activities.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience with reference in IT Project Management, with responsibility in planning, management, implementation, and successful transition to operations.
  • Proven ability to lead teams of technical project resources.
  • Ability to create and/or review configuration and technical specifications.
  • Relevant certifications, e.g., SAP certifications, PMP, SCRUM, etc.
  • A high degree of initiative, excellent conceptual, results-oriented, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build networks and keenness to work in intercultural and interdisciplinary global teams.
  • Business fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel.
