About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team at MOBIS Parts Europe N.V. in Frankfurt, Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities for mass production and advanced projects in Chassis Controls Group.
  • Design and analyze modifications for Power Brake Control (PBC) and Electronic Park Brake (EPB) related software.
  • Design, analyze, and improve temperature models for rear disc/drums.
  • Execute plans and perform travel to test tracks, headquarters, and customers.
  • Execute plans and perform validation on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) environments.
  • Implement PBC software and its interfaces to guarantee full EPB functionality.
  • Ensure the EPB is working safely and fulfilling all expected functions.
  • Report documentation of development products.
  • Review and report results of Request for Quotation (RFQ) material for software-related content, including failsafe.
  • Ensure a reliable relationship with HQ design teams and customers.
Requirements
  • University degree in electrical, mechanical engineering, or mathematics/physics.
  • Decent background in automotive controls engineering.
  • Understanding of vehicle dynamics, powertrain, braking systems, and Electronic Park Brakes.
  • Proficient in model-based design and C-code development for embedded controllers.
  • In-vehicle testing and/or simulation experience.
  • Experience in system modeling and control software development appreciated.
  • Training and knowledge on Automotive-SPICE and Functional Safety appreciated (ISO/IEC 15504 and IEC 61508/ISO 26262).
  • Willingness to travel to test tracks, headquarters, and customers.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Passenger car driving license (B), trailer license appreciated (BE), and fluent in English.
