About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Working Student to join our Cloud Service Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development process and ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud-based services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the development team to automate service and infrastructure updates, ensuring timely and secure deployment of changes in Kubernetes and hosting infrastructure.
  • Support the team in minimizing service unavailability and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Gain hands-on experience in developing high-quality software using state-of-the-art technologies in an international working environment.

Requirements

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences in the area of computer science or similar.
  • Initial experience with two or more of the following: Kubernetes, Docker, Prometheus, Git, Jenkins.
  • Initial experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Golang, Groovy.
  • Very good language skills in English (German is a plus).
  • Team player, can-do attitude, self-motivated.

About the Team

The Common Service Infrastructure team is responsible for a set of integrated data platform and infrastructure services, which are the foundation of SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Data Warehouse Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Data Intelligence Embedded. Our services are designed and implemented using cutting-edge technologies, especially Kubernetes, and are running at large scale in all major cloud providers.
